Summary

121 Research Drive is the most recent project to be undertaken at Innovation Place. The development is designed to accomodate the growth in the information technology sector in the park. The building will encompass 5 floors, complete with a full basement and partial penthouse to accomodate the elevator machine room and mechanical services.

Natural lighting is a premium feature of the building design, so glazing is maximized and the floor plate dimensions set to optimize the penetration of daylight. Building systems including building envelope, mechanical, electrical and building controls, are selected to meet the CBIP criteria for energy consumption.
