Guided by its academic mission and a desire to provide the Best Care For Life, the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) is carrying out a five-year, $1.579-billion Redevelopment Project that will consolidate its patient care, research, education and technology assessment activities on two campuses—The Mountain and the Glen. The Redevelopment Project will provide the state-of-the-art facilities and equipment needed to encourage excellence and attract and retain medical and scientific leaders, as well as a diverse range of healthcare professionals.
The Glen Campus Redevelopment Project will consist of replacement facilities for adult and pediatric patients,including 500 acute care beds, ambulatory care, a Cancer Centre, teaching, and a research institute.
