Lanefab Design / Build
The first 'laneway house' completed under the City of Vancouver's 2009 lane house bylaw. The Mendoza lane house is a 710sf, 2br, infill home built with R-40 walls and triple glazed windows. All lighting is fluorescent or LED, the home has a whole house energy monitor, and all of the paints and adhesives are low VOC. The prefab SIP panels used for the walls and roof are a local product manufactured by Insulspan in Delta, BC.
