Summary

In May of 2006 the Ontario Government Building located at 227 Howey Street in Red Lake sustained severe fire damage to the roof and major building systems as a result of a lightning strike. After assessing the damage, a decision was made to refurbish the existing two storey structure incorporating as many of the existing components as possible.
