The 8th Floor at the new Livingstone Place in Calgary is a 2000 square metre Tenant Improvement for Shell Canada. It is comprised of open office space, closed meeting rooms and typical support spaces. The interior work, proceeding in conjunction with the completion of the base building, focuses on providing staff with a high qualify indoor environment, sustainable material selection, and improving energy use where the base building mechanical and electrical systems allow. Livingstone Place was selected for a variety of reasons, including the downtown urban location and provision of bike stalls to provide as many opportunities as possible for staff to make use of downtown amenities within walking distance, bike commuting and public transit as well as the provision of a high quality building envelope and sophisticated digital building management systems.
