Summary

The transformation and renovation of the U of S Murray Building is designed to allow the campus' main library to respond to the needs of an increasingly diverse community of learners. Renovations on the ground, first and sixth floors will relocate the circulation desk to the front entry of the building, greatly improve wayfinding, introduce a cafe to the library environment, provide multiple group study rooms to facilitate team-based projects, zone the ground floor for extended student hours, accommodate the new University Learning Centre offices and programs, and improve office environments and adjacencies for library staff departments.
