Dockside Green - Synergy

Dockside Green is a 1.3 million sf, mixed-use development on a former brownfield site in the heart of Victoria, BC. The first phase, Synergy, includes four buildings constructed over a common underground parking structure. The program for Synergy includes a nine-story residential tower with commercial units on the ground floors; a two-story townhouse building; a six-story building with commercial units on the ground floor and a four-story residential building. The site is bound by roads on the west and north sides; a greenway and creek on the east side; and future development on the south side.

Navy Building 850

Building 850 serves as one of the U.S. Navy's two "Energy Showcase" facilities to demonstrate applications of the latest concepts in energy-efficient and sustainable facility design, construction and operation. Located in Port Hueneme in Ventura County, California, the building is home to Naval Base Ventura County Public Works Department and provides Naval staff with direct exposure to and experience with green building principles. The project includes a 10,000 ft2 (950 m2) remodel and a 7,000 ft2 (650 m2) addition.

Pierce County Environmental Services

The Pierce County Environmental Services Building is located on the Chambers Creek Properties, a site of over 900 acres, including 2-1/2 miles of waterfront on Puget Sound. Pierce County recently completed a 50-year master plan for the site focused on "Reclaiming Our Resources," an effort that will gradually heal and rejuvenate the entire area by reintroducing native species and incorporating public uses of the site.

The Balzer Theater at Herren's

Theatrical Outfit is a 29-year-old professional, nonprofit theater group in Atlanta, Georgia. For years, the organization staged productions in Georgia State University's Rialto Center. In December 2004, Theatrical Outfit moved into its own home at 84 Luckie Street. Named for the lead donors, Bill and Peg Balzer, and the rehabilitated historic building that it occupies, Herren's Restaurant, Theatrical Outfit's new home is an intimate, state-of-the art theater, designed for, owned, and managed by the company.
