Summary

Prince Edward Way Waterwise Blooming Boulevards is a beautification and environmental enhancement project consisting of a series of gardens planted along Prince Edward Street. Residents initiated the project through a proposal to Vancouver Park Board’s Neighbourhood Matching Fund.

Over thirty boulevard gardens have been planted with a diversity of drought tolerant plant species, transforming roadways and creating a unique identity for the neighbourhood.

The gardens highlight the beauty, low maintenance, drought tolerance, and water conservation of native vegetation.
