Dean Turgeon

About:

Dean Turgeon is the President and founder of Vital Engineering.   He brings 20 years expertise in mechanical system design and project management in commercial, institutional and industrial projects.  Under his management and direction, Vital Engineering has rapidly grown into a recognized leader in high performance and alternative energy systems in Alberta (yes... Alberta).  Dean is also active in governance and executive positions in several professional organizations, working to bring commercial and public interests together. 

Dean has demonstrated a commitment to advancing design and construction in Alberta.  He has organized committees of professionals to improve the practice of engineering design and technology.  He has contributed to the standardization and regulation of new technologies.  He has worked with his clients on long range economic forecasting of design alternatives and exposing hidden costs related to long-term ownership not typically considered in initial designs. 

Dean is broadening perspectives to see energy as an agent for community development and commercial success.
